Last night was amazing! A very fine meal followed by dancing the night away in the bar! We definitely got the party started there. Today’s hike was well worth the $20 and 5Q’s for the walking stick! From the group game of “Deep but not Profound” that lasted the rest of the day, to the side of the volcano practically exploding, to quite literally bush-whacking our way down the mountain on a “short-cut” path in the pouring rain with the melodic voice of Allison keeping our spirits high, it was truly the experience of a lifetime! Despite the fact that it began to pour and Patti had to move a little more slowly because of her injuries we really came together as a team to keep everyone moving safely to the bottom. I think that the valiant-ness and chivalrous-ness of the hearts of our team were tested, and shined very brightly today!
